Today’s earthquake looks like the continuation of the one hitting L’Aquila a few years ago, the one happened in August and running on the Apennines line from Messina Strait up to the Po Valley, eventually getting to the north eastern Alps.
This geographical area collects most of the cultural heritage of the western civilization.
