The recent decriminalization of some corruption crimes in Romania called about three hundred thousand citizens in the streets. The Romanian premier Sorin Grindeanu has announced that the protested decree will soon be repealed.

A much larger crowd has gone on the streets of a soi disante older democracy (so old that felt the need to “export” its model in places where the only known effect is still an humanitarian disaster), protesting against the racism permeating its new rules.

The president on this other side is somewhat older and not hearing well yet.
